Accounting Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programme
Admission Requirement
- Admission to the postgraduate diploma programmes in Accounting, is open to candidates who already possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Third Class honor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or Business Administration from Landmark University or other accredited institutions.
- Holders of the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Banking and Finance and other related areas with a minimum of Lower Credit may also be considered.
- The minimum duration for the full-time PGD programme is two (2) semesters or one (1) academic session.
- Students who successfully completed the PG Diploma in Accounting, can proceed to the MSc in Accounting offered by the Department.
Business Administration Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programme

Admission Requirement
Admission to the Post – graduate Diploma programme is open to candidates who already possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Third Class honour’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship, Public Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management and other allied disciplines from an accredited institution approved by the Senate of Landmark University. Holders of the Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Entrepreneurship and any other related field listed above may be considered. The PGD programme requires a minimum of 30 credit units.
Master in Business Administration (MBA) Degree Programme

Admission Requirement
To qualify for admission to the Master Degree of Business Administration, candidates must possess: Bachelor’s degree with minimum of second class (Lower Division) in Business Administration, Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship, Public Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management and other allied disciplines of this University or any other approved University. Bachelor’s degree with minimum of second class (Lower Division) in any other discipline not listed above such as B.Sc. in sciences, Engineering and Medicine. Such a candidate will however be admitted on the condition that he/she will take required courses in which he/she is deficient. Candidates with postgraduate Diploma from a recognized University, and who have passed with a minimum of Lower Credit may be considered for admission provided they satisfied the University matriculation requirements Holders of HND and /or professional qualifications in administration discipline are eligible for admission but will go through a mandatory nine months postgraduate diploma in the University provided they meet basic university entry qualification. All candidates must have a minimum of one year managerial administration exposure and may be required to write qualifying examination.
MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc.) PROGRAMME
The Master of Science degree in the Department requires a minimum of 18 months of academic sessions (or three semesters) and maximum of three academic sessions (or six semesters) of full-time study during which candidates take prescribed courses and write projects embodied in a dissertation in partial fulfillment of the award of M.Sc. degree.
Admission Requirement
An applicant for admission into Master of Science degree programme shall be a graduate of Landmark University or any other recognized University with a minimum of a second class (Lower Division) degree. Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in an interview..
DOCTORAL DEGREE (Ph.D)
Admission Requirement
Candidates must possess a first and second degree of Landmark University or any other recognized University in relevant disciplines. Candidates must have completed the Masters of Science programme with minimum 3.50 CGPA or 60 % on weighted average. However, candidates with less than the required CGPA/weighted average are eligible to apply for Mphil-Ph.D.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for the PGD programme must register and pass courses and long essay totalling not less than 40 credit units. Candidates for the Master of Science programmes must register and pass their course work in addition to completing a dissertation. The total credit unit load for candidates pursuing Master of Science programmes must range between 36 and 45 units depending on area of specialization. For the Doctoral programme, candidates are required to register and pass coursework and conduct a research in their area of specialization embodied in a thesis. Doctoral programme candidates must satisfy the credit unit load requirements of minimum 30 units.

Admission Requirement
The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate Programme at Landmark University is credits level passes in 5 subjects at the Ordinary Level examination of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB. The subjects must English Language, Mathematics, and one relevant science subject selected from the following group; Biology, Health/General Science, Food and Nutrition, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry. These must have been obtained at not more than two sittings. Candidate seeking admission into Sociology Programme must have obtained credit level pass in at least five (5) subjects at the WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level in not more than two sittings. The five (5) credits passes must include Mathematics, English Language, two social science subjects (History, Government or Economics) and one relevant Science subject. UME subject include; use of English and any three social science subjects: Economics, Government, Commerce, Lit-in-Eng, In addition Candidates will be eligible for admission if they hold a B.Sc. or equivalent degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Demography, Social Work or a combination of these and/or other related disciplines in the Humanities, Administrative and Social Sciences, with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Sociology Doctoral (Ph.D.) Degree Programme

Admission Requirement

In addition, they are required to write a thesis. The duration of course work at the Ph.D. level is one semester. Candidates with M.Phil. will be exempted from Ph.D. course work.
