Admission Requirement
- Holders of first degree in Agricultural Engineering or related discipline in Engineering with minimum of Third class or other related Engineering discipline.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) holders in Agricultural Engineering or other related Engineering discipline with a minimum of upper credit or 5 years cognate experience for HND lower credit holders.

Admission Requirement
The minimum entry requirement for the M. Eng / M. Phil. degree programme shall be Second Class (Honours) Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering. PGD in Agricultural Engineering with minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above will be accepted. Applicants who possess qualifications other than Agricultural Engineering will be required to make up the deficiencies in some courses as approved by the Departmental Post- Graduate Committee.

Admission Requirement
The entry requirement for the PhD. programme shall be:
- A good M. Eng or M. Sc. / M. Phil. degree in Agricultural Engineering and passed with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on 5.00 point scale or 3.0 on 4.0 point scale or an average score of 60 %.
- An average score within 50 to 59.9% will be adequate for admission into M.Phil. /Ph. D.

Chemical Engineering Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programme
Admission Requirement
To qualify for a postgraduate diploma degree in Biochemistry programme, candidates must possess
- Holders of first degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline in Engineering with minimum of Third class or other related Engineering discipline.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) holders in Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering discipline with a minimum of upper credit or 5 years cognate experience for HND lower credit holders.
Graduation Requirement
- O’level credit requirement for entry to the programme may be deferred (to be passed before graduation or before issuance of degree certification) for the following subjects (please list them, if any): None
Duration of Programme
- Minimum number of Earned Credit Hours for graduation: 64 units;
- Minimum No. of years for graduation: 2 years (4 semesters)
- Maximum residency requirement in years, if any: 3years (6 semesters)

Master of Engineering (M.Eng)/ Master of Philosophy (M. Phil)
Admission Requirement

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) Degree
Admission Requirement
The entry requirement for the Ph. D. programme shall be a good M. Eng or M. Sc. / M. Phil. degree in Chemical Engineering and passed with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on 5.00 point scale or 3.0 on 4.0 point scale or an average score of 60 %. An average score within 50 to 59.9% will be adequate for admission into M.Phil / Ph. D.

Post Graduate Diploma
- Five Credit passes in ordinary level certificate to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any Science Subject
- Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of Upper Credit awarded by any institution accredited by NBTE and approved by the Nigerian Society of Engineers, plus a minimum of one year relevant post qualification experience.
- Higher National Diploma in Lower credit in Civil Engineering or related discipline accredited as in (b) above and a minimum of three years relevant post qualification experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering or related degree with Third Class or pass Degree from a University recognized by Landmark University Senate.
Masters in Engineering
- Five Credit passes in ordinary level certificate to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any Science Subject

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
Admission Requirement
O ’Level Requirements: For any of the postgraduate programmes, the candidate must possess Five O’ level credits in English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any of Biology and Agricultural science.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- A minimum of lower credit in HND or
- B.Eng with a minimum of Third class or Pass.
Master of Engineering (M.Eng)
- The applicant must have at least a minimum of second class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering with C.G.P.A of not less than 2.50 in 5 point grade.
- The applicant must have PGD grade with C.G.P.A of not less than 3.00 in 5 point grade.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
- Candidate with Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in 5 point grade or percentage aggregate of not less than 60 is qualified for admission.
Area of Specialization
The students seeking admission into any of these programmes: PGD, M.Eng. and Ph.D, can specialize in any of the following:
- Industrial and Production option
- Design and Mechanics option
- Thermo-fluid, Automotive and Power option
- Material and Metallurgy option
DURATION OF THE PROGRAMMES
- PGD: The programme duration for PGD is four semesters and the curriculum of the programme is divided into first, second, third and fourth semester, respectively.
- M.Eng.: The degree of Master’s shall normally be between 18 to 24 continuous calendar months for full time students or between 24 to 36 calendar months for part-time students.
- Ph.D: The full-time candidates will be required to spend between 36 to 48 calendar months or between 48 to 60 calendar months for part-time students.
